Lakeside Barn is a newly refurbished luxury modern one bedroom barn conversion. It has retained it's original charming features such as high ceilings and beams. Lakeside Barn consists of an open plan kitchen/living/dining room which leads onto spacious double bedroom and modern stylish bathroom. The floor is tiled throughout with cosy underfloor heating. Surrounding the barn there is a large patio area overlooking our beautiful lake with stunning panoramic views of the Somerset countryside.

Important – Construction work around site will take place throughout March, Monday to Friday, 7:30 – 17:00. While we do not expect major disturbance, there will be some noise at times. This gorgeous lodge has picture-perfect lakeside views and makes for an amazing break, whether you are angler or just love being beside nature. Plus free fishing is included in your stay with 6 lakes stocking carp up to 27lb plus a mixture silverfish. We have a convenient tackle shop which is open everyday

A nature lovers paradise: from the spacious and comfortable open plan living area you can spend all day relaxing and watching the many species of resident and visiting ducks on the ponds through the picture windows. In the summer the patio area beckons for sundowners at sunset. Whatever the season the natural beauty and serenity provides the perfect scenic getaway.

The master bedroom has an en-suite and behind a bookshelf is a hidden bunk room. Guests can enjoy 3 acres of private grounds with a stream bubbling through it and a lake with jetty and rowing boat. Dogs welcome. Bampton is a lovely "foodie" village just five minutes walk away. Attractions nearby. Check in/out Monday or Friday

‘Fern Lodge’ is one of four, private lodges situated on the second lake of ‘Venn Lakes’, on the outskirts of Winkleigh. The lodge has its own, private garden and hot tub, which is not overlooked, and has parking alongside. Coarse fishing is available for an additional £20 per 24 hours for up to two of your own rods per person. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, at a maximum number of two.
