The Workshop is a self contained unique studio style conversion. Set in the countryside in a small rural village close to the sea & moors. Paddle on the river, walk to the beach or local pubs. It is a converted workshop of an old Plant Nurseries, which is now our home. It has a private entrance, parking, kitchenette, shower room, bedroom & lounge space. You will also have access to 2.5 acres of private meadow and woodland which is home to an abundance of wildlife such as deer, badgers & owls.

You could get around without the car .Close to local supermarket, take-aways, bars and cafes and the sea front. We are in the house next door so are around should you need us. Located in a quiet residential area within walking distance of Torquay Harbour, Town Centre and Wellswood, Babbacombe and St Marychurch. We are located at the top of a hill on the outskirts of the town which makes us a quiet location away from the night time noises. The surrounding areas are a leisurely walk downhill (but obviously an incline on return). We are approximately a 15 minute walk from Babbacombe Downs and a 15 - 25 minute walk into Torquay Town centre. Taxis cost approximately £7

Welcome to our lovely house in Wellswood, Torquay. Set in a conservation area, amongst leafy walkways and quiet streets. We have a spacious, comfortable guest suite (2 rooms and ensuite shower room) with its own entrance and free parking to the front of the house. It is well located, only a fifteen minute walk from the harbour / town centre and the nearest beach (Meadfoot). please note the guest suite does not have a kitchen. There is a kettle, toaster and microwave for your convenience.

With a short drive to Dartmoor, Agatha Christies house and the seaside, also Sandridge Barton vineyard and restaurant is close to us. Great for walking and exploring the local area with a bus stop a few minutes walk away taking you into our local towns.

Very convenient Torbay location for all the attractions including Broadsands and Goodrington beaches and Paigton and Brixham towns both only a 5 -minute drive away. You have the best of both worlds. For the nautical types, all the ferry trips to Dartmouth and beyond are available at Brixham harbour.
