Sparkling with the bohemian and colorful air of its former owner, a renowned painter and sculptor, this unique 160 m2 duplex with its own rooftop is a feast for the senses. It's in the second floor of a mid-century house with original balconies. Its location next to Plaza de la Alfalfa, Plaza del Salvador, Barrio de Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz neighborhood, city hall, etc., surrounded by shops and restaurants, make the stay special. Suite "Alcaicería 15.2" of 160 m2, is located on the second floor of the house, and has three floors connected by an elegant spiral staircase, and a private access to a panoramic rooftop of 40 m2, ideal for 8 people. Option for families or groups over 8 PAX: There is the possibility, according to availability calendar, to rent also the "Alcaicería Suite, 15.1" with capacity for 4 PAX. "Suite Alcaicería 15.2" is the largest of the two only and exclusive duplex apartments of the house, with entrance on Calle Herbolarios and a self check-in device via access keys. The house is located between "Plaza de la Alfalfa" and "Plaza del Salvador", next to the Barrio de Santa Cruz and emblematic monuments of our city such as the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Plaza de San Francisco, the Archivo de la Indias, Plaza de la Encarnación (Setas) among other places and monuments. It is a very comfortable large apartment and belonged until very recently to a renowned painter and sculptor. It combines several original styles in terms of decoration, drawing attention to its architectural design by the spiral staircase and the panoramic bedrooms with glass walls, which makes it a very bright house. The building in which it is located was built in the middle of the last century, and has been renovated in 2018, being located in one of the most emblematic streets of Seville. The street where the house is located is called Alcaicería de la Loza, because of the Islamic farmsteads that were spaces where the sale of wholesale items was allowed, being the epicenter since the ninth century of the space where it was marketed with silks. The apartment "Suite Alcaicería 15.2", opens to holiday rentals at the end of October-2018 and is ideal for families and groups of up to 8 PAX, being composed of an integrated kitchen line, dining room, toilet, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, several terraces and a rooftop viewpoint. The apartment is fully air-conditioned, has unlimited Wi-Fi system with signal repeaters. Sensitized to the environment, we produce hot water through solar energy (300 liters plus a support of 120 liters). The COMEDOR-Kitchen line and LIVING ROOM blend harmoniously in a diaphanous environment, presiding over a large wooden table with eight designer chairs and equipped with a Smart TV with private HBO and Netflix channels, Bluetooth speaker. It has a small balcony on Calle Herbolarios. Its integrated KITCHEN line is fully equipped with kitchenware of all kinds and small appliances (juicer, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle for infusions, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, iron and board, etc. ) and large appliances (washer-dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, induction cooker and microwave-grill). In addition to having soap for the washing machine and dishwasher, we leave our guests a small supply of olive oil, vinegar, salt, sugar and various teas. BEDROOM 1 Alcacería, is on the first floor and opens its two large windows to Calle Alquería de la Loza, in the neighborhood of La Alfalfa, a neighborhood of great tradition in Seville, has a bed of 1.50 x 2.00 m, hanging garments, small chest of drawers and TV. It has a security glass wall that faces the living room, having a giant store for privacy. BEDROOM 2 HERBALISTS, is on the first floor, is characterized by the contrast of the warmth of the wood floor and industrial environment, small ventilation window to Calle Herbolarios, has a large KING SIZE bed of 1'80 x 2'00 m. hanging garments with trunk, small chest of drawers and TV. It has a security glass wall that faces the living room, having a giant store for privacy. BATHROOM 1 is on the first floor, fully equipped with shower tray and glass partition, Sevillian hydraulic tiles, furniture with sink and W.C. It has a hairdryer and a set of white cotton towels per person, in addition to hand soap, bath gel, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. BEDROOM 3 ALCAICERÍA is located on the second floor, it has a sofa-type nest bed, from which I left another extra bed to become a double bed, it has fitted wardrobes with coat racks and a window that overlooks the adjacent terrace that faces Alcaicería de la Loza street and from where the metal staircase that leads us to the roof-viewpoint starts. BATHROOM 2 is on the second floor, fully equipped with shower tray and glass screen, cabinet with sink and W.C. It has a hairdryer and a set of white cotton towels per person, in addition to hand soap, bath gel, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. BEDROOM 4 HERBALISTS is located on the second floor, has a double bed of 1.50 x 2.00 m., large fitted wardrobe with coat racks and a window that gives access to an adjoining terrace overlooking Herbolarios Street, equipped with an articulated arm awning to provide shade in summer, table and two chairs. The pillows and the Nordics are made of fiber and the bedding is all white cotton, all bedrooms have independent hot and cold air conditioning. AZOTEA-MIRADOR has a height of about 15 m. and is in one of the highest areas of the Barrio de la Alfalfa, being a relaxing space where you can see the sunset and the reflections of the sun falling on some of the important monuments of Seville. It has a security railing throughout its perimeter, two wooden armchairs, a rocker chair and a garland of lights for an eventual night visit. OPTION 12 PAX: Option for families or higher groups there is the possibility, according to availability calendar, to also rent the "Alcaicería Suite, 15.1" with capacity for 4 PAX. We will provide several phones and emails of the responsible person (s) that we will designate, in order to welcome them, make the delivery of keys, formalization of check-in and above all advise you on visits, gastronomy, etc. always being available to solve any doubt or incident during the stay. Feel the City’s Heartbeat at a Grand Old Home with Balconies

The restoration and decoration of the flat was finished on sept 2017, with grate open spaces and super high ceilings (4 metres high) its and oasis of peace, thanks to the exterior glass and metal balconies that can be closed completely, and the wood windows that go from floor to selling on the outside facade. To the inside the flat overlooks a typical Spanish patio As you approach the house the main outside door to the building warns the visitor about the category of the building about to enter … passing a metal gate the patio is reach, a simple elegant spaced that provides light to the inside of the properties and cools down the atmosphere during the hot days, opposite the lift and to the right the stairs, the height of the ground floor is so huge that the stairs need three sections to reach the first floor flat (in today’s construction it would be a high second floor) As you enter the flat on your right and along the inside of the flat you have a wood and picture window overlooking the patio With two confortable bedrooms one with a balcony, both with, wardrobes, bed side tables with reading lights and 100% cotton bed clothing And two bathrooms one in suite with a bath and both with, shower and hot water on demand heated with city gas The kitchen is modern and gear up with top range kitchen equipment, and with all the necessary utensils for cooking a delicious meal, presenting and serving the food The sitting room has a, working table, library, two armchairs, big sofa and flat TV, is supper luminous thanks to the balcony and the window at the far end were the dining table seats The house has air conditioned in all rooms and Wi-Fi The building a private house on its day, was first renovated in 1999, and latter refurnished in September 2017, the main entrance at number 3 of Calle Reyes Catolicos and the back entrance at Calle Almansa The property has a beautiful patio and underground car park, with one car park space for the flat connected with a lift to the first floor of the building Is a peaceful residential building and will be appreciated to be treated on that manner The apartment is on Calle Reyes Católicos in the upscale Arenal neighborhood in Seville’s old town. Step out to shops, tapas bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. The town hall, cathedral, river, and bullfighting ring are just minutes away. Walking distance from the flat in less than 5 minutes, Plaza Nueva (Town Hall), the Cathedral, the river Guadalquivir, the bull fighting ring “Maestranza”, and the commercial streets, Calle Sierpes and Calle Tetuan and at the other side of the river Triana. Newly Renovated, Chic Apartment Near Santa Catalina

This year (December 2015) we have completed a full renovation of this apartment. Absolutely EVERYTHING is NEW! Carefully designed, with your comfort and convenience in mind. Tasteful shabby-chic decor giving a comfortable, functional and pleasant ambience. Usable space of 30m2 fully equipped with central hot and cold air conditioning throughout. Layout is open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen with sofa, dining table and chairs. The bedroom has a king size bed (1.50m x 1.90m). Lovely bathroom completed with a walk in shower. A washing machine in a build-cupboard. Bed made with fresh linens. Towels are provided. Iron and ironing board. Hairdryer. You will love preparing your favourite home cooked meals in the newly remodelled kitchen with lovely oak worktop and fantastic appliances. Fridge/freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, coffee and teapot, kettle, toaster, juicer, cooking pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, etc. After dinner feel free to choose a movie from DVDs collection or simply watch TV and spread out on the large comfy sofa. If you need to keep up with work during stay, just bring your laptop to use the free super fast WiFi. For couples with children we have a travel cot and high chair. Guests will have access and exclusive use of the apartment. Free wifi. Even though I am originally from Seville and I am passionate about my city, I moved to England in 2003. The apartment is located at the centre of the city, in "Casco Antiguo", walking distance to the main attractions of Seville, monuments, museums, restaurants, tapas bar, flamenco shows... No car needed, but if you drive we do have a public parking a 5 minutes walk from the property. Excellent connections to public transport: bus, metro, train and taxi. Just 10 minutes walk from Santa Justa railway station, ideal for excursions to Córdoba, Granada, Cadiz and Malaga. Also very near to Plaza Ponce de Leon, an urban transport hub of the city.

Designer Flat on Plaza with Tapas Bars

Our flat has a vibrant, artistic vibe and is located in small building, designed by the famous Sevilla architect Anibel Gonzalez. The building has been renovated to provide modern conveniences like a lift, air conditioning & heating and Wi-Fi. It is one of four apartments in this emblematic building. We love that it is part of the city's rich history! We especially admire its balcony and views onto the plaza, high ceilings, arched windows and beautiful facade. We also like how it is quiet but in a lively neighborhood. A simple three story building with a elevator. There is a wonderful cafe downstairs that we believe has the best breakfast in town. They have great Italian coffee and they make their own breads and cakes. Fabulous extra virgin olive oil too! For afternoon relaxing have some wine and cheese at the low key authentic bar next door. Pepe and I think of each guest as if you were family. We believe that the point of Airbnb is to feel connected to the people of the place you are exploring and to have extra assistance in getting to know the place you are visiting. However, we also respect that each guest is different and some prefer privacy while others may like a bit of company. The apartment is in the historic center of Seville, with several markets within a minute's walk. Find tapas galore in the nearby square or join the local folk at the Vizcaino Bar for vermouth and mussels. Main tourist sights are a short and enjoyable walk away. We recommend walking or renting a bike but there are buses (C5) and taxis close to the house. We are always happy to call you a taxi at anytime of the day. We also recommend that guests download MyTaxi, Cabify or the Uber App while in Seville. There is a flea market that has taken place every Thursday since the 13th century right at the foot of our apartment. Pretty cool to see. The family that owned the building prior to its renovation were known for the books their sold on Thursdays. We feel like it's Christmas when we wake up in the apartment and see everyone set up outside. The flat is in the historic center of Seville, with several markets within a minute's walk. Find tapas galore in the nearby square or join the local folk at the Vizcaino Bar for vermouth and mussels. Main tourist sights are a short and enjoyable walk away.
