There is a eatery in the Altlay, about 1.5 km away, in the Altlay. Our cottage is surrounded by forest and meadows. The Altlayer Bach flows directly past the house. The picturesque 200-year-old quarry stone building has been renovated in 2022 and features a new bathroom, kitchen, underfloor heating, and open fireplace.

We have excluded pets but dogs are allowed and welcome, The apartment is located a few meters away from the national park Hunsrück-Hochwald and very close to the Erbeskopf and Idar-Oberstein. Restaurants, a bakery, a butcher and supermarkets can be reached quickly from the apartment by car.
