Cam Cottage Cabin is right on the river and is accessed through courtyard gates. It is secluded and an isolated spot nestled in an acre and a half of grounds. It has a private balcony overlooking the River Cam where you can observe rowers, swans and herons gliding by. It is a 20-25 minute stroll along the river towpath into the historic centre of Cambridge or a ten minute bike ride. A Tesco local is 2 mins away, pizza pub and coffee bar and post office. Friendly Labradors roam freely.

Situated on a private lake, you can relax on the decking. The area is quiet and tranquil with wildlife on the lake. 55” smart tv in main lounge and a tv and DVD player in master bedroom.

This beautifully crafted log cabin with its own hot tub is a perfect retreat for all seasons, 17x12 feet. It is fully insulated and heated. Cosy duvet, crisp linen, towels, table and throws are all provided. Within the cabin there is a fridge, toaster and kettle, and next to the cabin there is a covered kitchen area with a gas BBQ, stove, pizza stone and sink with drinking water. There is free Wi-Fi, books, games and lanterns. The private luxury bathroom is about 25m stroll away.

Wooden cabin by river in rural Leicestershire.

The Vine Cabin is a hand built snug insulated wooden cabin with woodburner, within sight and sound of the River Wreake where you can use our canoes . Sleeps up to 5 (2 in bunks), basic cooking facilities. Canoe building holidays by arrangement. The built in bunk can take 2 people ( increasing the capacity to 6, but they need to be friendly!!). Please bring sleeping bags for the built in bunk (the other beds have bedding provided)
