The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez bei Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away, and the festival house is 20 minutes away. You live on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it to travel. The house is right next to the small Margrafen castle Schreez. In 2021 & 2022 we renovated the house.

Our old farmhouse was lovingly restored in 2016. The room climate is pleasant, because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small town with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and tranquility. Children also get their money's worth. Pure nature on the edge of the forest!. A fantastic place to recharge and rest, but there are also no limits to many sports activities. The property is located a bit off the beaten path. Nearby are climbing rocks, hiking trails and a river for kayaking. Bike and motorcyclists will also get their money's worth. All over the property there are 2 holiday houses with private, separated outdoor area. Free parking space at the house.

Our accommodation is absolutely quiet. In just a few steps you are in nature. It is ideally suited for 2 adults and 2-3 children. The large garden with a stream is ideal for children. In the immediate vicinity are trails partly (floodlight) and the biathlon stadium with ski scooter and ski lift, sledge slope, MTB trails and hiking trails. Fichtelsee is a 20-minute walk away. Please request a children's discount!

The cottage is simple but homely decorated. It has everything you need for a few days to relax and unwind. The view of the surrounding area is wonderful. Sunrise with a view over 25 km. To sleep you have to climb a small sturdy wooden ladder with 5 steps in the hut. Towels and linen are included. Exact address sent in person after booking Early check-in is available upon request. Relax between Fichtelgebirge and Franconian Switzerland, experience culture in nearby Bayreuth, feel good in our new and biologically renovated apartment!!! Our guest apartment is located on the first floor of our house and has a separate entrance. The fully equipped kitchen is available to the tenant completely alone. We have designed our little oasis with a lot of heart and look forward to our guests!
