Our hut "Devovčeva bajta" is located at the Herders' settlement of the largest highland pasture in Slovenia - Velika planina in the center of Kamnik Savinja Alps, 30 km north of Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana, on the altitude 1544 m (5066 ft). The Herders settlement is a fairytale like village where life is as it was hundred years ago. Simple huts offer basic shelter for herders and their cows. My place lies on the doorstep of Upper Savinjska Valley and is an excellent starting point for excursions throughout the valley. You can go skiing at Golte, visit Logarska valley, adventure park Menina, go hiking, or visit various corners of Slovenia! We are surrounded by meadows and woods, there in no road ahead of us. You can enjoy truth nature, bur you are not far from all kinds of activities... But you'll have wi-fi. My place is good for couples, business travelers and families (with kids).
