It’s like a step back from reality, the peace and tranquillity you find here is like non other. Your own deck overlooking the creek to enjoy morning coffee,evening relaxing with an adult beverage or casting a line.There are stairs to creek level, a fishing/ launch area for the provided kayaks n canoe’s. We now have a double kayak too. We have an additional tiny house (The Gingerbread House) on the same property that friends or family can rent too The only thing shared is parking ,steps n creek.

Welcome to Snyder Co., PA! Our basement apartment has 1 queen bed & 1 bathroom. (Air mattress available upon request, for additional 2 people) The basement is all one open area, with a private bathroom. It is a shared house with our family of 5, but the apartment has its own private entrance and no shared spaces. Since the apartment is in the basement of the house where we live with our 3 children, you will hear footsteps and noises. PLEASE DO NOT book if that will be a problem for you!

This renovated cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. Located on the beautiful Shade Mountain, it is a great spot to relax and unwind. Great for the family. The cabin has NEW BEDS. Beds are two double beds, 1 single bed, a futon in our sitting room that sleeps 1 person. The cabin has running water, an indoor bathroom that includes a flush toilet, sink and a shower designed for shorten showers. A modernized kitchen has basic cooking accessories to prepare meals as well a coffee bar.

We would love to be your host and like meeting new people , we do respect your privacy . We generally greet our guests upon arrival ! Our home is "your home away from home" We are about a 20 minute drive to Selinsgrove where Susquehanna University calls it home. Downtown Selinsgrove has a variety of restaurants and shops . Also about 10 minutes away is the town of Mifflinburg which is home to the Mifflinburg Buggy Museum . Penn View Bible Institute is less then 5 minutes away .
