We’ll begin on the famous Calle 8, where you can grab a cafecito or pastry from Party Cake Bakery before setting out. • Walk through Little Havana’s streets and see its murals up close. I’ll share the stories behind these works, their artists, and the neighborhood’s cultural influence on public art. • Visit some of my own murals and get insight into the creative process. I’ll explain the techniques, inspirations, and collaborations that shape my work. • Go upstairs to my studio for an inside look at my workspace. Join me, a wildlife photographer, author, and conservationist, for a nature-lover’s glimpse beneath Miami’s touristic veneer. I’ll guide you on a natural history tour of Coconut Grove, including visits to natural areas and secret gardens, all with a sprinkling of history and culture. • We’ll meet at the Barnacle Historic State Park to explore South Florida’s natural coastline, winding our way through a patch of native tropical forest for views across Biscayne Bay. We’ll look for birds, lizards, and other wildlife, and you’ll see the oldest house in the county still standing in its original location, the home of Ralph Middleton Munroe, one of Coconut Grove’s influential pioneers. • Next, we’ll stroll through an area of grand old buildings known in the early 1900s as Millionaire's Row. I'll point out natural and historic features, including original structures and a solution-hole turned sunken garden. Upon entering Casa Habano, each guest will be greeted with a traditional Cuban coffee or "Cafe Cubano" to get a full sensory experience From there we begin a video on the seeding, germination, planting, curing, fermenting and sorting of tobacco leaves before shipped to factories. We continue by sharing the history of Commercial cigar rolling in Florida which began with small-scale operations by Cuban immigrants in the 1830s, and blossomed in to the "cigar Capital of the World", with Pioneers like Vicente martinez Ybor and Eduardo Manrara. Next we visit our pettit GALERA to experience each manufacturing stage: PRIMARY PROCESS - This is where you get to see firsthand the different types of tobacco and the aging process. Here you will see and learn how various tobaccos are sorted. DEVEINING - The removal of the center vein is a critical process of preparing the tobacco, and we will show you how it is done. TWISTING & ROLLING - Constructing a cigar is a 3 step process. See our Master Torcedores, twist, bind, press and roll our premium cigars. PACKING - Once cigars have been rolled they undergo further aging, before they're label and packaged for distribution. For safety, we recommend to wear closed shoes. A golf-cart tour of Wynwood will give you a good understanding of the layout, magnitude, and history of the Wynwood Art District, allowing you to see hundreds of murals in all corners of the area as well as many opportunities to take pictures where you choose. When you join me on a golf cart tour of Wynwood, you will have the comfort of the ride but the immediacy that the open air provides. Even driving at a low speed, I will have time to take you to areas of Wynwood that a walking tour cannot reach and tourists are unlikely to find on their own. Paint a Wynwood Mural

Paint/ Photoshoot;an introduction to the Artist, a brief history of murals, importance of public art, examples of works in Miami. (No Artistic talent is necessary.) -Introduction to materials, brushes, spray paint, rollers, drop cloths, latex paint, tape and palettes. -Then an explanation of the process and meaning of 'underpainting" as the first step of creating a community mural. A community mural involves groups of people creating together, I will show you the tasks and different sections of the mural. Each participant will be encouraged and given instruction on all facets of the mural. A group photo and progress shots will be taken during the mural process. -How to create a wash, painting with water to make the next stage after underpainting possible is my signature style. -Using different brushes to make different lines as well as the "dry brush" technique for shading on some realistic images will be explored by all in attendance. Then the best way for everyone to enjoy their time is to learn by doing! Set up and introduction is 15 minutes, The actual painting is one hour and the post/photoshoot is 15 minutes. The Final stage of details and photoshoot with your work to always remember the experience. Creating a permanent mural in the mural capital of the world "Wynwood" on a highly visible intersection will culminate in a group unveiling as we say "Artworld!!!! Other things to note Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting paint on, the paint will not come out of your clothing, it is non toxic paint it will not harm your skin or hair. You can take your shoes off so it not necessary to bring 'old' shoes.
