Get way from IT! Please enjoy my home while I'm off on a tour of duty as an outback midwife. I'm not joking about getting away from it (aka technology) - there is no wifi or TV! Don't worry there is strong cellphone coverage if you need to turn your phone on. My 100 year old villa does have all of the other mod cons and is situated 2 minutes walk from the train station and five minutes from the cafes, restaurants and pubs. And my back gate opens onto Howard Booth Park - for exercise & play.

The Victorian Villa - Masterton

This Grand 1907 Victorian Villa built entirely of beautiful New Zealand native timber features five bedrooms, four of which are currently set up for guests. (two queen, one double and two single beds) Located on popular Renall Street it's only a short 5-10min walk to Renall Street Train Station or to Masterton's town center where you'll find cafes, shops, cinema and restaurants. Or take a day trip to Wairarapa's iconic beaches- Castlepoint and Riversdale, both are only a 45min drive away.

Peaceful on Papawai

The best of both worlds - quiet country retreat just 1.6 km walk/drive from central Greytown - one of Aotearoa's most beautiful boutique destinations. Built in 1910 for the Galdstone school master, the restored villa has a guest wing with super king sized bed (can also be made up as two singles), lounge, luxurious bathroom, private deck, heat pump/air con wifi, kitchenette and stunning views. Bikes and a pool available (summer months). Shuttle for station and restaurants by arrangement.
