Palheiro Jardim Avó Graça

The sea and mountains so close to Si . Nature at its Best. This location shows what the typical Abrigo of the ancient shepherds was like here on Madeira Island called Palheiro. It had as a function the shelter for the shepherd / farmer to put the animals and store the products taken from the land and the respective food for them, such as cattle and caprino, it was a place without great resources, very simple. The Palheiro do Jardim da Grandma Graça is slightly adapted to our current situation.
