Amazing dual aspect views across the River Dee onto the Welsh Hills and out to the Irish Sea. Property has been refurbished to a very high standard. We have done our upmost to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing stay. Within walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the coastal walk. ‘The Shippen’ is our barn conversion, which was once part of a small working dairy farm. High beamed ceilings give a spacious, rustic feel and the double sided log burner makes the living spaces cosy. A ‘home from home’ for our guests, and many return to stay again. Ideally placed to explore Merseyside, Liverpool, Anthony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’ at Crosby Beach, the Sefton coastal towns to Southport, Aintree racecourse, Knowsley Safari Park and Aughton, the Michelin Star capital of the North!

It is situated in the cultural heart of Port Sunlight which includes the Lady Lever Art Gallery, the Museum and the iconic fountain viewed from the cottage windows. The cottage is great for short stays, holidays or business. It is the perfect base to enjoy the beauty and history of our Village, for exploring the Wirral, Liverpool, Chester, North Wales.

This delightful little thatched property for two lies in the owners’ grounds in a rural part of the Wirral Peninsula. The Dee Estuary’s beach is just a mile away and there are plenty of walks available locally, including the beautiful Wirral Way, which runs from Hooton to West Kirby along the course of an old railway line. An ideal couples retreat.
