You’ll find Winnow's Rise nestled among the bush on the edge of the Granite Belt, in country Queensland. Hidden away on our 160 acre farm with only the gums and the clouds for company, our little cabin is a refuge from the bustle of the everyday. Created with reconnection in mind, we’ve made a place where time slows enough for you to settle, reflect, imagine and tend to yourself and your loved one. Be nourished by simple pleasures as you unwind amid the quietude of Winnow’s Rise.

Cheese Maker's Cottage

Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges. Has a fishing dam closeby. Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle. The property is part of the ancient Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, which becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Our place is not suited to young children.

Creekside Retreat

This charming accommodation at Greenup Meeting Place along the Bracker Creek offers a unique and cozy retreat for two. On your doorstep are olive farms, bushwalking tracks, bike riding trails, restaurants and plenty of sightseeing to keep entertained or just sit back and enjoy pure country serenity. Mountview Wines cellar door is just walking distance from the cabins and vineyard. The winery is one of the oldest and most historic of the district, and is the maker of the popular drop, The Bloody Good Red. This 40 acre property overlooks has magnificent views across the valley to Mount Tully.

The only decision to make is whether to explore the property, read a book by the fire, or venture out and explore our neighbouring National Parks, Granite Belt wineries or historic towns.

Nestled in the granite rocks and eucalypts 14 km south of Stanthorpe, Harvista Cabin captivates all that visit. Studio cabin for 2 is set on a granite outcrop on 4 acres with native fauna and flora surrounding. Enjoy the 4 seasons of the Granite Belt and local produce on offer. Stroll along a country road to visit wineries, cafes. and what the Granite Belt has to offer. For the avid cyclists, link into the Granite Belt Bike trail or just relax on the deck.

Rose Cottage in Ballandean

The cottage is within a 10 min drive to 15 Wineries. 5 are James Haliday 5 star award winning wineries. All wine tours pick up at Rose Cottage There is a country PUB 5 min walk away. A local corner store and St Jude's Bistro good for coffee, breakfast, lunch Girraween National park is a 15 min drive. Sundown is a 4WD park only it 1/2 hour drive You can fish or put your boat into Storm King Dam There is also a local Golf Course

Highland Croft Cottage accommodation

The cottage offers you a fully serviced home away from home. The lounge boasts a wood heater with television and dvd player. There is also a BBQ outside with a basket breakfast included in the tariff, plus tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The master bedroom has french doors opening onto the verandah. Both rooms have cosy blankets, doonas and electric blankets. Highchair and cot available on request.
