Takasegawa Shichijo Kyoto Machiya is a residence with 115-year-old Kyoto machiya as a full novation. The Kyoto machiya, which shapes the beautiful scenery of Kyoto, has been restructured into a highly airtight and insulated building so that you can spend comfortably in the steamy summer and cold winter that is unique to Kyoto, leaving the structure of the time. From the Japanese-style room on the first floor, you can see the tsubo garden with the imagery of the "open space" (* garden leading to the tea room). In addition, we have prepared a sofa so that you can look at the tsubo garden while relaxing relaxing in the hallway. At night, you can spend healing time while looking at the lit-up tsubo garden. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, with two single beds and one double bed. If you are staying with more than 5 people, it is a little troublesome, but you can lay a futon in the Japanese-style room on the first floor and use it as a bedroom. ※ We would appreciate it if you could also tell us the number of children during the request. With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto This house used to be one big guest house, but since this Covid19, I have stopped running the guest house and I started to live here with my wife and 2 kids. However I didn't want to quit so I left the good part. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the concept, The slope in front of the house is hard. There is stairs to go up, check online map before you book.
