River-side House El Refugio Intag Cloud Forest

El Refugio Cloud Forest Lodge is a reserve in the Ecuadorian sierra just three hours from Quito’s international airport, one-and-a-half hours from the market town of Otavalo. The house has a view of forest-covered mountainsides and the volcano Cotacachi. The property has trails along the Toabunchi River and in the forest to hike and to observe the great variety of cloud forest plants, as well as birds and other wildlife. Restaurant on site can provide $8 breakfasts & $12 lunches or dinners.

Estamos a 20 minutos del Mercado de los Ponchos, 50 minutos de las Lagunas de Mojanda, 20 min. de Cayambe, 40 min. de Cotacachi, etc Tenemos dos chimeneas, un calentador exterior eléctrico y en la terraza hay un fire pit, que les acompañarán a disfrutar los atardeceres mas bellos de la sierra.

This charming two story cottage, known as Casa Verde, is located on a delightful organic farm 5 minutes outside of Cotacachi (15 minutes from Otavalo and 1.5 hrs from Quito). It is a cozy retreat nestled between the Andes Mountains of Mama Cotacachi and Papa Imbabura with expansive organic vegetable gardens that our guests are welcome to enjoy. One way or roundtrip car service from Quito for additonal fee. No pets allowed.
