Cozy cabin in the woods, only 45 min from the city

Our cabin is a quiet cozy place. Located in Svarfhólsskógur in Hvalfjördur, only 45 minutes drive from the city. Beautiful views of mountains and woods all around the cabin. The area around the cabin is wooded with low growing birch trees typical of the Icelandic woods. As a base for sightseeing on the west coast this is a great location. Close to Snaefellsnes, and also the many sights in Borgarfjördur, waterfalls, glaciers, caves and much more. If you enjoy nature this is the place for you.

A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The Cottage is modern, cozy and spacious. You can enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. Cool Cottage close to Reykjavík - hot tub

The cottage is located on a farm, Kalastadir, only 55 km from Reykjavik. It can house up to 6 people. It´s close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. There is a free WIFI and on the veranda is a private hot tub where you can soak while enjoying the view. It´s close to Glymur, the tallest waterfall in Iceland and the shore where the seals are. Since there is no light polution here as in towns and Reykjavík, it´s a good place to watch the Northern Lights.

Our 78 square meter 1 bedroom cottage is located 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik. The cottage is luxurious and has an outdoor natural water hot tub from where you can enjoy the Northern Lights or the fantastic sunset. The living area and the balcony have a spectacular view overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a great base for day tours in the south or west of Iceland. Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Snæfells glacier are all within 1-2 hours’ drive.

Charming cottage in a cozy and peaceful area. Perfect for adventurous holiday in the Icelandic countryside. Thirty min. from the capital plus nearby access routes to known Golden Circle from our cottage is ideal. The entire Hvalfjordur area is beautiful and magnificent in its own right and worth enjoying. The cottage sleeps 2 with a double bed in a upstairs loft. There an extra folding bed for those who don´t want to share a double bed

Luxury close to the capital

Our place is great for families, friends, couples and anyone who loves luxury (with breathtaking mountain view), comfort, luxury bed and linen etc. Close to popular tourist attraction such as Thingvellir, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon. Excellent brand new jacuzzi which is perfect at the end of the day. There is a very large wooden porch great for outdoor use the whole year.

The cabins are part of Hotel Hafnarfjall resort. In the cabins you can really feel the nature around. You have an exceptional view of the ocean and Hafnarfjall mountain on the other side. Borgarnes town is just across the bridge, where you can find restaurants and supermarket. Breakfast is not included in the price and it's additionally paid in the hotel reception.
