In addition, there are quite a few downhill ski slopes and cross-country skiing trails available in winter. The popular destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. At 950 m, the water dome is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers an extensive range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

Dear potential guests: Whether in transit, for a small break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - on the balcony with panoramic views or in front of the blazing fire in the fireplace. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

It is only 5 km from the A7 and yet "at the end of the world" and offers many excursion destinations in Frau-Holle-Land with its castles and palaces. The beautiful half-timbered towns of Witzenhausen and Hann. Münden is only 10 km away. Likewise, our little ones (and big ones) can expect a magical old-fashioned/modern original amusement park.

Romantic oasis surrounded by meadows and forests. Beautiful hiking/ cycling trails start right by the house. There is a great covered barbecue with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be enjoyed in many ways. A table tennis table, a kicker and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style invites you to relax immediately. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can usually arrange the check-in/out individually.

In the center of the village there is a playground and a lavender field with seating for lingering . We now offer 2 e-scooters for rent for a' 15 Euro /24h. These are scooters with road approval that can be driven without a driver's license from the age of 14. If you are interested, simply report it.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction!

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and larger groups. Unless it is about uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
