Discover the history and lingo of natural wine in Paris

Suddenly, natural wine seems to be everywhere. Paris is the natural wine capital of Europe, with a rich history in the wine industry. You’re invited to join me, the owner of wine cellar/bookstore Rerenga Wines, in a special wine tasting aiming to unite Parisian tradition with radical, inclusive perspectives. • Seated around a table in the center of the shop, surrounded by eye-catching wine labels and book titles, you’ll be greeted with a glass of bubbly while we chat about natural wine. • With our second glass of wine, paired with select cheeses from our friends at Ratafia (a cheesemonger and wine bar in the 12th arrondissement), we’ll dive into its history. Natural wine might feel like the hottest culinary trend, but where did it come from? • Along with some natural wine vocab, we’ll give you the scoop on the contemporary natural wine scene in Paris. You’ll learn about the legendary wine stores and restaurants in Paris that paved the way for natural wine’s rise across the globe. • As we enjoy our third wine, I’ll share tips for talking to a sommelier so you can make the most of the spirit of discovery in this city. By our last glass of wine, we’ll hopefully know each other well enough to talk about love and revolution. We’ll explore what we’re supporting when we drink natural wine and hopefully plant the seeds for friendships that last long beyond these walls.

Laugh Your Way Through the Louvre

After the quick entrance, I'll show you the Louvre in a light you may have never imagined. Being an art historian and stand-up comic, I’ll have you cracking up in front of the Mona Lisa and giggling in front of Greek relics at a walking pace. You’ll learn art history and some Greek and Latin words to impress your friends. Adults and young adults. 6 guests only. Other things to note Once you booked your experience, make sure you get your entrance ticket for the time of the experience and print it or download it on your phone (an extra screenshot is always a good idea, even with a print) Museum pass with a time slot also work. If you can't find the good time, any time of the day will do as we pass security together. If any trouble, I can always find a louvre ticket for you. After the exp, you always have time to wonder around

Secret Cellar Cheese & Wine Tasting in trendy Marais

Let’s discover the secrets of French Cheese & Wine in a hidden Parisian cellar! Bienvenue! If you’ve ever mistaken Comté for a galaxy far, far away, or thought Camembert was just a Brie with commitment issues, buckle up! we’re diving headfirst into the delicious underground of French fromage. Step into a cozy century-old wine cellar tucked away in the heart of the trendy Marais, far from tourist traps and close to the good stuff. For two hours, join me, a certified down-to-earth sommelier and full-time cheese connoisseur on a decadent journey through terroir, tradition, and taste. We’ll sample 8 French cheeses from best craftman MOF cheesemonger Laurent Dubois, each paired with 4 low-intervention boutique wines from different regions. Expect raw milk cheese delights, goat, sheep, cow, and low-intervention wines you won’t find at home. And no, this isn’t a lecture. It’s a relaxed chat among friends. We’ll explore how France went from medieval monks to Michelin stars via cheese and wine. We’ll uncover the scandalous tale of Roquefort, and why the French treat their fromager like a therapist with a rind-covered prescription pad. There’ll be crusty bread from an award-winning bakery, seasonal organic fruit, and a handmade Parisian pastry to end on a sweet note. All in an authentic wine cave that’s seen more toasts than Versailles saw wigs. Come hungry! Santé!
