The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. In the middle of a fantastic Allgäu mountain landscape lies in the picturesque, winding village of Niedersonthofen (municipality of Waltenhofen) directly between Kempten, Sonthofen and Immenstadt on beautiful Niedersonthofen Lake, in an Alpine built 500-year-old farmhouse, the quaint cozy 6-room apartment. Here, tedious crafts and tradition paired with lots of Allgäu nature and hospitality meet. Attention to detail has not been made. Pure farm feeling.
