Close to Cornbury Park and the Wilderness Festival sites. Built in 1876 for the Station Master, the house has character with open fireplaces and woodburning stove. Extended in the past few years for added space and comfort. Good home cooking from an experienced chef. Chipping Norton is a small market town in the Cotswolds, previously famous for its tweed mill and more recently the Parker Knoll furniture manufacture. It has a regular weekly market and a Farmers Market once a month. The Theatre is a bonus, playing drama, music, dance and film on a daily basis. Several good restaurants including bistro, Indian, Thai and Chinese are to be found in the town. Nearest station is Kingham about four miles away to which there is a connecting bus service. Also buses to Oxford, Banbury, Witney and Stratford.

Guests have use of an entire suite / a light, spacious bedroom in our annexe, just 10 m from a 16th century Elizabethan cottage in the very heart of Stamford. (High St. is barely 1 min walk away but the street is quiet, as it is an access only road) The annexe has a private entrance with 2 secure locks. Parking - free on site. Private en-suite bathroom & shower. Wifi, TV, microwave, kettle & light breakfast are provided (cereals/ fruit)& guests are welcome to use our cottage kitchen & laundry.

This cute 200 year old castle folly with a hot tub was restored with help from the BBC’s ‘My Unique B&B' to give you a romantic experience in a beautiful rural setting. Medieval themed features include panelled walls, skylight above the bed, and a knight! Facilities include a shower, TV, fridge freezer, heating, hob and seating inside and out. A substantial breakfast pack is provided. Hot tub available for an additional fee on request. With a village pub close by what’s not to love?

Farm shop, open for 20 + yrs, sells a wide range of home grown & home butchered meats & local flour, beers, ready meals & pies. Nr. Rutland Water, & Melton Mowbray, of pie fame, Stamford & Leicester. Great pubs abound, as do walks & entertainment of every kind.
