At the Ford du Lac

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped, recently updated, 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a quiet lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!

Small spacious lakefront cabin built new in 2021, queen Murphy bed, kitchen area, 3/4 bath. includes free use of kayaks, mountain bikes, stand up paddle boards, swimming, covered patio with BBQ, fire pit, wood provided. 6-person shared hot tub, between two cabins, under gazebo in wooded area. Breathtaking sunsets, birds, fish jumping and an occasional beaver. Relax by a fire, quiet walk, paddle, or try your luck at fishing . 3 km to store with services . Minutes from mile long beach.

The Narrows

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled on private lakefront property. Shoreline connecting two large lakes and river flowing to the ocean. Great place for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Located 5 minutes from Mavilette Beach Provincial Park and nearby a convenience store. This newly built cabin is equipped with full bathroom, kitchen and two queen sized beds. It also has outdoor chairs, fire pit, bbq, picnic table and 2 kayaks.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This log home can accommodate 4 people comfortably and up to 8 people using the pull-outs at an extra cost. Great for romantic getaways, family vacations, girls getaways and more. Listen to the ocean on our large oceanfront deck while watching the sunset. We are 25 minutes from Yarmouth, 40 minutes from Digby, 7 minutes from the beach and close to lots of grocery stores, restaurants, liquor store, bank and more.

Treehouse overlooking lake

A quiet paradise in the woods. A great place to connect with nature and relax. There is a 2 person kayak that are shared with our other treehouse guests. Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. No wifi but lots of nature!!
