Proximity to Highway 41 allows you to travel to Oakhurst (shops, restaurants, pharmacies, etc.) within 5 minutes. Yosemite's south entrance is 11 miles away, and Bass Lake is 5 miles away! Vacation time is never long enough, so save as much as you can and be centrally located to all the area has to offer.
