The fully separate home is located on our property offering a great space for a couple or a couple with small children. We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. A beautiful sandy beach and children's playground are located in town.

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite -No Cleaning Fee

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment that is private and located on the ground floor with your own entrance. It does not include the entire cabin. Christine's Log Cabin is directly across from the beautiful Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct) however you can hike all year long even with the gates closed and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a private beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year & complimentary Whiskey Maple Cake included.

Bunkie on Cottage Lot

No dogs week of 7 July. Bunkie has a 7 cut. ft. fridge, microwave, water cooler, coffee maker, kettle, basic kitchen supplies, bbq, patio set, firepit and access to Lake Mazinaw. Interior finished in knotty pine. Clean outhouse nearby; some guests shower @ Bon Echo Park (open 24/7). Basics (sheets, etc.) can be provided ($) for foreign travelers. Look @ my other bunkie on this site, with queen bed. Min. three nights booking on a long weekend. Closed after Thanksgiving.

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches.
