You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. Small kitchen with hot plate and cooking utensils. Nice mattress with views of the sunrise. Full bath. Nice couch with Netflix on tv. Desk for those that want to work. 13 miles to Boulder 20 miles to Nederland 27 miles to Eldora Ski Resort 9 miles to Gold Hill 30 miles to Rocky Mountain National Park Hiking all around. That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!
