My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. The space available is an attached studio apartment (studio apartment means the bedroom is not a fully separate room, it is a semi-private room that is open to the apartment). The studio has one queen bed and a full size sofa bed in the living room. We offer a quiet country setting with trails through the woods, a pond, many birds to enjoy and plenty of outdoor space with a 4 mile drive to Culver. Separate entrance and reserved parking.
