It is the perfect balance of having all the amenities of home, as well as the opportunity to enjoy some peaceful time away. Regardless, on 14 acres, there is lots of room to stretch your legs! Hosts will be available via call/text/email or Airbnb message during your stay with us. If a problem arises, a team member will be on site to solve with problem as quickly as possible. Approximately 6 kilometers off Cabot Trail, this location is the perfect base for your trip around the Trail, or around Western and Central Cape Breton. Our proximity to Inverness, Baddeck, Cheticamp and Ingonish make day trips from this base easy. As the last civic address on a public road, we are reachable by motor vehicle year round. During winter months our location is also easily accessible by snowmobile, and during the Spring, Summer and Autumn by ATV.

Welcome to "The Wild Chicken Holiday Suite" We are situated 1 km from the National Park and 5 minutes to downtown Cheticamp. The suite has a dream coffee bar with excellent coffee and tea choices as well as other hot beverages too. The Shackteau

A rustic cabin, right out of “Deliverance.” Inside, it's a well equipped clean and cozy retreat overlooking the world famous Margaree River. Margaree Forks is a great place to get away from it all, yet close to everything in western Cape Breton. I believe my happiest guests are those who are familiar with the camping lifestyle but now want something more comfortable. May 2024 a new futon is also available for guests who wish to sleep separately.
