Use the public transport ticket for the ferry!
If you don't want to pay for a full ferry trip or simply don't have the time to do so, you can just use your public transport ticket (one way or 24h) to take the boat within Zurich. A nice and common route would be from Wollishofen ZSG to Bürkliplatz or the other way. It is a short trip but a nice feeling nonetheless!

Public water fountains
The water quality in Zurich is very good. Normally, you can drink tap water in your accommodation (that's what we are doing all the time) and prefill your bottles if you are going around the city. If you haven't had the chance, there is no problem: There are public water fountains practically anywhere, where you can drink good quality water while sightseeing!

Free museum entry
Some museums offer free entries on particular days. One of the great museums to visit, the “Kunsthausmuseum” offers free entries on Wednesdays. Check the museum pages for more information.

Parking 🚘
If you arrive by car, the best way is to book a daily parking pass for the blue zone. It costs 15 CHF per day and allows you to park the car wherever you’d like in a blue zone within Zurich. You can obtain the pass or ticket online on the website of the city of Zurich. Parking is free between 19:00 and 8:00 on weekdays and Saturdays; completely free on Sundays and bank holidays. Otherwise, you can also get a nearby closed parking spot to the apartment for 10 CHF/day with Parcandi (Seestrasse 353).
